The Goa wedding guide

Married where the sun sets slowly.

Festivelle was born in Goa. Here is our love letter to the coast, and the places couples from Moscow to Mumbai choose for their day.

Whitewashed chapels, Latin Quarter streets and Portuguese courtyards for timeless photographs.

Assagao & Siolim

03

Assagao & Siolim

Heritage villas wrapped in bougainvillea, perfect for intimate dinners and mehendi afternoons.

Anjuna & Vagator

04

Anjuna & Vagator

Cliffside venues above the Arabian Sea for sangeet nights and sunset vows.

When to marry in Goa

November to February is the season: warm days, cool evenings and calm seas. December books early, so lock venues 9–12 months ahead. March is hotter but quieter, and the monsoon (June–September) is lush and romantic for small, indoor celebrations.

For Russian couples

Many couples hold a civil ceremony (ZAGS) at home and a symbolic celebration in Goa. Our concierge speaks Russian and can introduce you to trusted, Russian-speaking planners, photographers and venues.

“We wanted our families to feel at home on both sides. The invitation was the first thing that made that true.”
